1. I found the exploding flower to be the most interesting because it would be cool to have a exploding flower.

DeleteADDIE HANSEN: I WATCHED THE VIDEOS AND READ THE ARTICLE AT 8:17 TUESDAY NIGHT.1) I also thought the bunch berry article extremely interesting, because I love explosives.2.) I thought the the writer did a great job explaining about the bunch berry plant. They caught my attention now I want to do more research on this plant.3.) I think this topic is soot of important, because if they could figure out away to use it in the military that would be very neat. It could become a war product. They can start using it for guns!

I definitely agree with you that the exploding flower was cool. It was also very interesting because most people think that nature would somehow blow up only because man did it. I mean, who would ever think that a plant would explode to pollinate?! MJS

4)Public tax dollars should support the airline bag check because if people don't know that they're about to put a bomb on a plane, people's lives could be in danger and people would be killed if no one knew about the bomb. MJS
I think you are totally right on #4. We should definitely make sure we have the best possible security at the airport. JMJ

4) I think we should use our tax dollars on bettering the airport security, because if we are using tax dollars, it should be used on something that would benefit the people paying for it. JMJ
1: I thought that the bunchberry flower was cool because of the speed at which it blooms (1 millisecond). I also thought that it was interesting how this flower had a triggered bloom when large movement or weight occurred. One thing I learned in another part of the article was that some rocks just might need multiple, small explosions, rather than one large one to be broken up.
ReplyDelete2: I would like to know more about what the bunchberry flower's speed could be used for rather than the fact that it just pollinates and it stays safe from being triggered by insects like ants (Mass trigger.)
3: I think it was important because if people can do better mining, and people will be safer from airport explosions, it will make life much easier and safer.
4: I think the tax dollars should be used on explosive detectors because at an airport, it may not seem common, but people have succeeded in sneaking in explosives. Also, many more people go on flights than people do mining, and there can be children and entire families on flights.

Delete1 I think that the Explosive technologist is wonderful. 2 do they us nitro glycerin any more.3 it is important because all the roads that go threw mountains need TNT. 4 the explosive technologist gets money from the US government because TNT is used for roads. E.D.B
