I thought it was amazing to see the TV's then and now. I can't believe that the smallest TV is .3 inches! It was cool to see how the Moors Law gets smaller and smaller every year. I never knew that a square of graphite is one atom think, Wow! Seeing the pill cam inside the body was amazing, but seeing the inside of a body, and then the pig eyes? that grossed me out. I absolutely loved seeing how they make the different colors of glass. Who knew that gold turned into red! It was absolutely amazing to find out that they made a liquid that goes into the bloodstream and finds cancer, then destroys the cancer cell. All in all, I really like the video! I l;earned a lot of stuff that I never would have known!
HB I didn't know that if you shrinked something, and made it a different shape, it would absorb a smaller light spectrum and change color due to the amount of blue going in! In this video, it also said that putting things on the nano scale make things more efficient. Graphite can be turned into 1 atom in width. The pill cam inside the body was amazing! This day in age everything is getting more efficient and amazing. I love everything that scientists are doing, it is very, very interesting. The glass in the cathedral was so beautiful. I am amazed at how many colors silver can make by changing its shape. I also didn't know that metals send numbers as 'words' like, 0010001.0 means nothing and 1 means one electrical pulse.
MF I thought it was amazing how much information can be stored on a tiny computer chip. Also, it was interesting how a material like quartz can replace a complicated robotic machine. I thought it was weird how accurate Moor's law has been over the years. The pill cam that took two pictures per second was awesome. It was amazing how it had a 360 degree view and could all fit in a pill. Who knows what else can be developed in the field of nano-technology.
NAB I found this video very interesting, I never really thought of the idea of ditching mechanics and using a materials physical properties. The nano bees and the grapheme are very interesting concepts.
I thought this video was so cool. I really like the elevator to the stars. I also thought that it was very interesting when the scientist put graphite on a piece of tape, and was able to make a sheet the was one atom thick. I will definitely be watching this video again!
This video had a ton of info in it! It was a super cool video! I really liked watching the part about the cam that is the size of a pill and doctors can take picture of the inside of you. However it would kind of scare me, because what if you got electrocuted by the pill inside of you, YUCKS! I thought it was also really cool how they talked about the Gold and Sliver and how if you get closer and closer to the tiny molecules then they actually change color, also when they are heated up. I think it is amazing what Scientist are thinking up these days an elevator to the stars, that is so super awesome, soon people are going to be living longer, because of these amazing inventions.
RJL I thought that the whole thing was very fascinating. I especially liked the part where they said that the size of some of our objects are only as big as they are so they can fit in our hands. The part where they said a house would only cost 400$ if its market progressed like technology does. I really enjoyed the video and I see why some people dedicate their lives work to something like this. Very Cool.

ReplyDeleteI found it to be really cool. I would actually like to use that kind of technology in video game consoles
you forgot to use punctuation. ;) haahahahaha
