  1. Well, it was a nice video, and it explained how plant life can react to many different natural things, and how plants react to the revolving of the sun and moon.

    1. This video was good at describing how plants react to their surroundings. To start off, there are many different type of tropisms. I could put them in a list, or I could put them in a link right here: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110502130657AAdW3xF
However, although there are a lot of tropisms in this list, these aren't all of them. As the sun and moon revolve around the earth, the plants begin to open and close. They are open during the daytime, and closed during the night. Gravity causes the roots to grow downward and the stem and leaf to grow upward. If bent, it will curve upward toward the sun and away from gravity. A special plant is the fly trap, which has Thigmotropism, meaning reaction to touch. As a bug touches it, it closes in killing it's prey.

  2. the video was pretty cool. it gave me a knew since of plant movement. the Venus fly trap was the most interesting in my opinion. degusting bugs makes wonder if it has a little bit of mammal in its jean pool.

  3. This video explained how plants respond to certain things, such as a venus fly trap sensing even smallest movement and instantly closing in on it's prey. The sun has a great impact on plants, because they fallow the direction of it. Each day the sun rises, and the plants open up to the warmth. It is very fascinating that plants move around all day, but we don't notice because it is so slow. When time laps photography shows the constant plant movement, we will notice that plants will either thrive or hide, depending on where the sun is at. To be honest this video did not tell me anything I didn't already know.

  5. I think this video was really cool. I think that it is very cool how the flowers and other plants open in the sunlight and close in the night. I think that it is very cool how the climbing Burch climbs the rod to grow upward. I think that it is weird how the lily pads move in the morning. I think that if we could tape a room full of plants and have a light in the middle of the room and tape it for a matter of weeks I think it would be very cool to watch.

  6. really cool video. I thought it was interesting how some plants respond to touch, while others respond to light, etc. really cool.

  7. This video is about how different tropisms affect how plants turn. Like with the plant being shown throughout the day, it was turning towards the sunlight because it was being affected by phototropism. And then there was the plant that was being affected by thermotropism, because it would open up to the warmth, and then there are the plants that are being affected by gravitropism, which most plants are affected by, because gravitropism is where plants grow up, against gravity, and towards the sky, which is what we see in most plants. 8. I thought that this video was very interesting! I loved watching the plants move. Most of the plants would open up in the sunshine and then close at night. The people used time lapse to show the video and provide reasonable information. Very neat. :-)
